The Same Wind Touches Many Leaves

"There are many ways in, and there are many ways out." - Karl August Kirst

A great ancestor of mine once unveiled to me that there are many ways in and many ways out. Every picture is a portal, every portico a passage. It is not important that we understand where. It is important that we feel when. In my sitting increasingly still these past few years, the rippling of the waters inside of me glow with knowing, and I am reminded that the same wind touches many leaves, like the same spirit touches many lives. Have you ever felt connected to a person or being you know lived in another time, and in another place? What is it about the limitations of our language and our learning that puts doubt in place of feeling? If you felt it to be true, then it is your truth. What will you do with it now that you've grazed it, danced with it, stood amidst it?
